Service Avoidance Training

Given the inherent risks associated with undertaking intrusive site investigations, we have recently undertaken a Service Avoidance, CAT & Genny and RD4000 course in conjunction with Equipe Training Limited.

The course included instruction in the following content:

  • Legislation and Standards;
  • Contractual Responsibilities;
  • How to read Service Plans;
  • Safe Systems of Work i.e. GEL policy and Permit to Dig;
  • Safe Digging Practices;
  • Utility Detection using a CAT & Genny and RD4000;
  • Utility Detection using Geophysical Methods.
