Geotechnical Team

The Geotechnical Team at Geotechnical Engineering comprises approximately twenty Engineering Geologists, Geotechnical Engineers and Site Technicians.

We organise and contract manage all stages of the site investigation from initial tendering through to site supervision and report writing.  Our teams are conversant with CDM Regulations and all are trained in-house to a high health and safety awareness.  All Engineers are either working towards, or hold, CSCS Management black cards and are first aid trained.

Technically, our Engineers are trained to a high level and the Company is a strong advocate for Continual Professional Development and Chartership is actively encouraged.  Logging skills are developed in-house and logging courses can be arranged for external Clients if of interest.

We have a wealth of experience and utilise to best effect company resources such as our Pioneer rigs, P45 and P60 slope rigs and the Laboratory.  Light cable percussive drilling and other traditional forms of investigation, as well as more specialised testing such as geophysical surveying and static cone testing, are provided from an approved subcontractor list.  We employ a  specialist team of Geotechnical Site Technicians who undertake monitoring and in-situ testing when required.
