Laboratory Team

The laboratory team at Geotechnical Engineering Limited comprises approximately twenty technicians headed up by Adrian Rose. The technicians are fully trained in house to exacting standards to undertake a wide range of tests in accordance with BS1377 and ISRM standards.

We undertake the full range of soil testing including classification, compaction, consolidation and strength testing. The laboratory is equipped with modern effective stress, shear box and ring shear equipment.

The laboratory is UKAS accredited (No. 2718) and a copy of our certification along with a direct link to UKAS  for our approved schedule is detailed below.

We are also registered with the AGS and can provide electronic data in AGS format if required.
